Who will win the 2009 National Championship?

While it's true that Meyer will have his boys ready to go we can't 4get the abscence of Mr. Dunlap. Players will have to shift in order to compensate and any big changes before a big game like this can be fatal. McElroy isn't the best QB out there clearly but he has done enough offense managing to keep his team undefeated. Let's remember last year it took an amazing 4th quarter comeback against a "deer in headlights" team last year. Saban mistakenly settled for a pair of FGs rather than be gutsy and go for it in the biggest game of the year!

The Tide had a first down at the Florida 12, then fizzled. John Parker Wilson scrambled and overthrew an open Nikita Stover in the end zone on first down, Glen Coffee got 2 yards on 2nd down and Wilson threw the ball away under pressure on 3rd down & they kicked a 27-yard field goal for a 20-17 lead. But it could have been 24-17 going to the 4th quarter. This time Ingram has a chance to comeup BIG & maybe even be a decoy at times to allow accurate passes to open WRs with 1 less pass rusher to worry about. If Texas wins their game they have a real shot of beating UF or Bama as an underdog with the winningest QB in history and future 1st rounder Shipley shredding secondaries! We'll see what happens.
